Manufacturing Job Opportunities
It has been brought to our attention in the light of the current economic climate that whilst some of you are unfortunately having to make sacrifices in terms of personnel, others are thriving and showing encouraging plans for growth over the next year. Therefore, there appears to be some benefit in providing a resource where members are able to a) post vacancies and recruitment opportunities and b) post skill sets that may be seeking current and future opportunities.
The service will be free of charge and whilst not on the level of recruitment agencies or dedicated job sites, we hope it will provide a conduit for you to share valuable expertise and possibly lower recruitment costs in these challenging times.

NOW RECRUITING (posted January 09) - Armalon Limited is a long established concern which has recently expanded to an ex MoD site at Bampton, OX18 2HU, which is being set up as a central manufacturing facility for the company’s products. This will involve conventional and special purpose production equipment as well as CNC lathes and machining centres etc. The company is looking for experienced engineering technicians with a comprehensive range of competency and preferably with a background as toolmakers, to operate the full range of equipment and processes. Honesty and an impeccable track record are prerequisites as is a willingness to take on whatever tasks may be needed at any time. The company is prepared to train appropriate candidates who show aptitude and the appropriate dedication, in various special processes. The positions currently on offer are temporary but it is hoped that some will lead to permanent employment with the company.
